What Is a Scientific Control Group?

an image portraying the relationship between Control and Quality

Usually, Scientific Control Groups are used to either test a drug or process efficacy, or its side effects.

One Group, the ‘experiment group’ is given a treatment.

The other group, depending on the experiment, is either:
a) left alone completely, or
b) when a drug is being tested on people with a known condition, this group is given a placebo, which is usually a harmless solution or sugar pill

Without the fair comparison that a Control Group offers, no one can know whether a treatment works or not, or whether a process truly does what it says it will do.

This is standard science, and a standard practice.

The lack of a proper Control Group for each of the COVID interventions means NO ONE can say they are ‘better than no treatment/intervention,’ because there is no long term data nor control group to prove it.

WITHOUT A CONTROL GROUP THIS IS NOT SCIENCE, IT IS BELIEF

Why do we NEED a Control Group?
